NNA - Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, denied today via Twitter the news circulated by some social media sites regarding certain additional fees imposed on travelers through Beirut airport, deeming this as "completely false".

He added that none of the departing passengers have paid any new fees from the date the decree was put into effect on Thursday, August 11, 2022, which proves that such news is totally groundless.
