NNA - The Kremlin said that Russian President Vladimir Putin decided at the last minute to go to Mariupol after his visit yesterday to Crimea, which Moscow annexed in 2014, stressing the "spontaneous" nature of his trip, according to "Agence France-Presse".

"It was all spontaneous," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said of the Russian president's first visit to Mariupol. He emphasized that "his movements in the city were not planned either."
