NNA – Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, confirmed Saturday that “in order for Lebanon to benefit from its wealth in oil and gas, from exploration to extraction, ongoing efforts have been focused for the past year on ensuring that:

1- Lebanese ports have preferentiality in providing services through the licenses that will be granted in terms of sea and air transport from/to exploration platforms

2- Specialized ports are established and equipped to keep pace with the stage.”
