NNA - Head of the General Labor Confederation, Bechara Al-Asmar, on Wednesday considered that the continuous hike of fuel prices reflected the determination of parties and black chambers to push the country towards a big collapse. 

Moreover, he called on the government to continue to support subsidized wheat and immediately raise the transport allowance LBP 150 thousand for each working day in private and public sectors, and to raise the value of school grants and family compensations.

“The union also calls on the Minister of Labor to invite the Index Committee to an immediate meeting for a serious and decisive discussion over the issue of minimum wage and its annexes,” he added.
