March by families of victims of Port explosion sets out from Justice Palace towards Expatriate’s Statue

NNA – A march set out this afternoon from the Palace of Justice in Beirut towards the “Statue of the Emigrant” facing the Port of Beirut, led by Paul Najjar, the father of the victim, Alexandra Najjar, in which the families of the victims, the wounded and the affected, and a crowd of supporters for the justice of the Beirut Port cause participated.

Marchers carried the Lebanese flag, pictures of the victims and banners calling for investigation and justice, with a remarkable presence of the international and local press.

This is the first of the three marches organized by the Association of the Families of Victims of the Beirut Port Explosion, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the tragic port explosion.

The march will have a stop in front of the French Embassy – Damascus Road, opposite Saint Joseph University, and will continue towards Samir Kassir Square facing An-Nahar Newspaper building, where there will be a pause, before heading towards the “Statue of the Emigrant”.
