NNA - Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Ali Hamieh, on Friday stated via 'X' platform: “It is crucial for comprehensive coordination among all stakeholders, including ministries, authorities, and citizens, to prevent the formation of floods and water overflows on highways and main roads. The responsibilities of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation are confined to draining and cleaning rainwater drainage systems on the following highways and main roads:

- The highway extending from North Beirut towards Jounieh, Casino, Tripoli, reaching Abu Ali roundabout.

- Abu Ali roundabout (Tripoli) towards the Syrian border. 

-Cheka road, Koura, Bsharri, Zgharta, reaching Tripoli.

-Chtoura Square to Baalbek, reaching the Syrian border. 

- Hazmieh interchange, Chtoura, Al-Masnaa, Rashaya, reaching Marj El-Zohour.

- Airport Road, Khalde Triangle, Choueifat, Camille Chamoun Boulevard towards Rehab Station to Saint Simon, reaching Khalde Triangle.

- Ghadeer River (from Kfarshima Bridge towards the airport).

- Khalde Highway, Awali, Tyre, reaching Naqoura.

- Zahrani interchange, Fnaydeq, Marjeyoun, reaching Marj El-Zohour.
