NNA - House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Monday received the new Colombian Ambassador to Lebanon, Georgine Khalil Shir Mallat, and discussed with her means of cooperation between the two countries.



Afterwards, Berri received Caretaker Finance Minister, Mohammad Safadi, and reviewed with him overall developments at the local and regional scenes.



On a different note, Berri was phone called by former Iraqi PM, Ayyad Allawi, and others who offered him condolences on the victims of the two explosions that hit Tripoli on Friday.
