NNA - Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati met with Caretaker Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Hajj Hassan, at the Grand Serail on Thursday.

Following the meeting, Hajj Hassan told reporters that talks touched on the situation of the agriculture in south Lebanon in light of the constant Israeli shelling, in addition to the memoranda of understanding his ministry is set to ink with Turkey, Russia, Algeria, among other countries.

Hajj Hassan indicated that he will head to Egypt today for talks with his Egyptian counterpart.

Separately, Mikati received a delegation of the Maronite League.
