NNA - Minister of Public Health, Dr. Firas Al-Abiad on Thursday welcomed a delegation representing Qatar Red Crescent, headed by Qatar Red Crescent’s Director of Relief and Development, Dr. Mohamed Salah Ibrahim. 

During the meeting, joint cooperation projects were presented to support patients and contribute to the advancement of the health sector in Lebanon. 

Dr. Ibrahim affirmed that Qatar stood by Lebanon amid this crisis.

For his part, Abiad thanked "the State of Qatar and Qatar’s Red Crescent for their support facing the current health challenges in Lebanon.”
