Nasrallah: Hezbollah now possesses ability to transform rockets into precision-guided missiles

NNA - Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, on Wednesday revealed that the Resistance is now capable of turning its missiles into precision weapons.

"We now possess the ability to turn our thousands of rockets into precision-guided missiles. We have started years ago, and we have already transformed a lot of our missiles," Nasrallah said in a speech marking the anniversary of Hezbollah leaders’ martyrdom.

"The Resistance is in a state of constant confrontation with the enemy," he indicated.

"Should the Israelis dispatch officers and soldiers to search for our missiles, they might be faced with an Ansariyeh 2 operation," he warned.

Nasrallah continued: "We have started manufacturing drones long time ago...We have made the decision to turn threat into opportunity."

"The Israelis are working on recruiting spies after their drones failed to activate the Resistance's air defenses," he went on to say.

"The Resistance is progressing," he added.

Nasrallah has also recalled that the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982 "constituted a crucial and exceptional threat to Lebanon, to the region, to the Palestinian Cause, and to Syria."

"Lebanon's identity was at jeopardy," he said.

"We must recognize that the Resistance, with all its factions including Hezbollah, is what preserved Lebanon's identity," he underlined.

"The Islamic Resistance was born to cooperate with the true advocates of sovereignty and to preserve our country's identity," he stressed.

Nasrallah continued: "Some in Lebanon and the region see that the future of the region is linked to a constant element called Israel; they do not envision a future without Israel, and that is why they are resorting to recognizing the enemy and normalizing ties with it."

"The Resistance factions, including Hezbollah, believe that this entity is short-lived and that it has started to decline," said the Hezbollah leader.

"Israel has been on the decline since 1985, when the Resistance in Lebanon obliged the Israeli enemy to retreat from Mount Lebanon, Beirut and its suburb, Sidon, Tyre, and Nabtieh.

Israel is heading to demise. It is a matter of time," he underscored.

On a different note, Nasrallah stressed that his party was ready for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

"There is no need to reiterate the necessity to hold the elections on their scheduled date," he said.

"We will continue to protect Lebanon through the golden equation, and we insist on the role of the Lebanese army and on the importance of strengthening it," he concluded.
