NNA – The Progressive Socialist Party issued a statement this evening, in which it announced that “given the current difficult economic conditions prevailing in the country, and the return of the serious outbreak of the Corona pandemic, no central gathering will be held in Al-Mokhtara this year on the anniversary of the birth of Leader and Mentor Kamal Jumblatt.”

Instead, the Party called on supporters and partisans to mark the occasion by lighting candles in homes, and reiterated its adherence to the late Mentor’s teachings and established values of justice, equality, building a state of citizenship and continuing the struggle until it is achieved.
