NNA - The European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) in Lebanon on Tuesday said in a statement that 40 short-term observers would be deployed to all regions of Lebanon on Thursday 12 May 2022.
The short-term observers will reinforce the mission for the E-day, joining the long-term observers who have been regularly reporting from all electoral districts in Lebanon since mid-April.
During the event, Chief Observer, György Hölvényi, will make a short statement to the press, and then the observers will load their equipment to their cars and leave in a convoy from the hotel towards their destinations.
The press are invited to cover this event on Thursday 12 May 2022 at 9:00 am at the main entrance of the Movenpick Hotel, Beirut.
