NNA - Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel called for an end to the "genocide" against the people of the Gaza Strip.

The Cuban President said in a post on the “X” platform: “Cuba will continue to raise its voice loudly as long as the Palestinian territories are being destroyed by the Israeli occupation.”

He added: "We call on the international community not to be afraid to condemn the crime. Cuba wants to stop the genocide."

President Diaz-Canel accompanied his post with a picture showing the Jose Martí Monument (one of the most important landmarks of the Cuban capital, Havana), being illuminated in the colors of the Palestinian flag.
