NNA - Caretaker Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, on Tuesday welcomed the Director of the UNESCO Regional Bureau in Beirut, Costanza Farina.

Talks reportedly touched on areas of cooperation and procedures to be adopted after the inclusion of Rashid Karami International Exhibition on the "List of World Heritage in Danger". 

UNESCO is working in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Trade, and the Ministry of Culture, to formulate an action plan that will preserve the exhibition architecturally and restore its cultural and economic status, as a typical cultural landmark in Tripoli city in particular, and the Mediterranean basin in general.
