NNA - Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Dr. Ali Hamieh, on Thursday met with Caretaker Minister of Economy and Trade, Amin Salam, with whom he discussed the advantages of having Lebanon join the World Trade Organization, as well as the obstacles that prevent Lebanon from joining this organization.

Hamieh stressed that he had agreed with Salam to proceed with a road map to facilitate Lebanon's attempt to join the organization, expressing the Ministry of Public Works and Transport’s will to remove the obstacles that prevent this step “within the scope of the ministry and under the roof of Lebanese sovereignty.”
