NNA - Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, affirmed, in an issued statement today, that “our objection to the strategy for the advancement of the financial sector and to the memorandum on financial and economic policies within the Council of Ministers was not a mere objection, but rather our approach to the subject was a well-studied scientific and methodical approach, and our first concern revolved around the issue of how to preserve depositors’ money as their sacred right.”
