NNA – Caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, has issued a decree inviting the municipal electoral bodies in Beirut Governorate and the Bekaa and Baalbek-Hermel governorates, to elect members of the municipal councils, determine the number of members for each, elect mayors and optional councils, and specify the number of mayors and members for each in the districts of Beirut Governorate and the districts of the Bekaa and Baalbek-Hermel governorates, on May 26, 2024.
