NNA - "Hezbollah" extended its congratulations to the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its struggling people on the "qualitative and unprecedented attack targeting the unjust and aggressive enemy entity,” praising the “brave and wise decision to respond firmly to the Zionist aggression against the Iranian consulate in Damascus.”

The party said in a statement that “the Islamic Republic exercised its natural and legal right despite the threats, intimidation, and pressure, and implemented its sincere pledge with unparalleled courage, great wisdom, and high appreciation of the situation at the level of the entire region and the world at large."

The statement considered that the operation achieved its precisely defined military objectives, despite the participation of the United States, its international allies and its regional tools in intercepting the attack.

"However, the long-term political and strategic goals of this major development will emerge successively and over time, and will establish a new phase at the level of the whole Palestinian cause and the historical conflict with this enemy on the path to the inevitable victory of our Arab and Islamic nation and the resisting and oppressed Palestinian people," Hezbollah's statement concluded.
