NNA - Former President, General Michel Sleiman, said in an issued statement today: “A blessed Sunday, and may God curse the war...Every country that attacked us, violated Lebanon’s airspace, bombed its airport, bridges, and infrastructure, and occupied its lands...and also those that dominated its decisions, violated its sovereignty, manipulated its regime, encouraged breach of its constitution and laws, and supported armament outside the legitimate powers, assassinated its figures, and imprisoned its members...They will all receive their punishment and will fight among themselves....and we must distance our country from the conflicts that have broken out and will break out among them...No gloating and mercy be upon the innocent and the weak...but the land of Lebanon is sacred!”
