NNA - The Lebanese Forces party's media department considered, in an issued statement on Thursday, that the party has always called for the return of Syrian refugees to their homes from the very first moment, especially since security in Syria has been restored.

The party stressed that the demand for the return of the displaced Syrians has become more urgent in wake of the number of criminal and security-disrupting acts carried out by some of the refugees in the country. However, the party emphasized at the same time that demanding the Syrian refugees' return to their homes is one thing, and acting with hatred and barbarism towards them is a completely different thing. 

"The actions we see on some social media sites and some of the practices we witness on the ground are unacceptable on the one hand, and suspicious in form, content, and timing on the other hand," the LF party statement added.

It concluded by reiterating that as much as it urges the Lebanese authorities to work to return Syrian refugees to their homes, yet it also denounces the barbaric attacks to which some of them are being subjected.
