NNA - Deputy Head of the Higher Islamic Shiite Council, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, on Thursday received at the Council's headquarters, British Ambassador to Lebanon, Dr. Ian Collard, who came on a farewell visit upon the end of his diplomatic mission in Lebanon.

The visit had been a chance to discuss the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.

Sheikh Al-Khatib wished the British Ambassador success in his new mission.
