NNA - Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, on Tuesday received at Dar Al-Fatwa Pakistan's Ambassador to Lebanon, Salman Athar, with whom he discussed the general situation and the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.

Mufti Derian also received the newly elected MP Abdel Rahman Al-Bizri, who said on emerging that discussions touched on the country’s political situation, and the daily living and economic conditions endured by the Lebanese, as well as on the outcome of the recent parliamentary elections.  

MP Bizri highlighted the need to work towards rebuilding a just, capable and independent state,
