Karami on the sinking boat tragedy off Tripoli's shore: The state is waging a war of extermination against the Lebanese

NNA - Head of the "Dignity Movement", MP Faisal Karami, expressed his great sorrow at the tragic sinking boat incident off the shores of Tripoli yesterday night, saying: "We have followed with much sadness and pain the incident of the sinking of a boat carrying a number of Tripoli's youths who disbelieved in this country that only gave them unemployment, darkness, price hikes and a blocked horizon...So they headed to the vast lands of God across the sea in an illegal and unsafe manner, and the result was the sinking of the boat and the fall of a number of victims, as well as a number of missing persons so far..."

Karami expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the fallen victims, asking the Lord Almighty to grant them patience to endure their huge loss and to grant the blessing of rescue and salvation to those who are still missing.
He thanked the Lebanese Army, the Red Cross, the Civil Defense, and all those who are exerting tremendous efforts so that this tragedy does not turn into a catastrophe in the city.

"We clearly hold the government and the state, with all its apparatuses and administrations, responsible for what happened, and we consider that the state, whether it intends or not, is waging a war of extermination against the Lebanese," Karami underlined.
