NNA - Austria's Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg on Wednesday visited Caritas Lebanon-Patriarch Sfeir Center for Persons with Difficulties in Zahleh.

He was accompanied by Austrian Ambassador to Lebanon René Paul Amry, Middle East Representative of Caritas Austria Sabine Wartha, and Lebanon programme coordinator at Caritas Austria Aglaia d'Aligny.

In his word, Minister Schallenberg hailed the role assumed by Cartas at the humanitarian level, stressing that Austria, alongside other European states, are seeking to stand by Lebanon during its crisis.
