NNA - Japan won its confrontation with Lebanon (3-1) in the Davis Cup tennis competition, in the match that took place between them on the first court of the "Smash Sporting Club" in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

The winning team retained its position in the first world group, while the losing team was relegated to the second world group.

With the first day ending on Friday with a 1-1 draw, Japan succeeded in achieving two victories on Saturday.
