NNA - Morocco plunged forward into the second round of the World Cup by defeating Belgium 2-0 (first half 0-0) in the match that took place between them this afternoon at Al-Thumama Stadium, in the second phase of the Group Six matches of the 22nd FIFA World Cup finals hosted by Qatar until December 18.

The "Atlas Lions" team raised its score to four points at the top of the group, whereby its players performed well as they dominated the course of the entire match, reminding the Arab public of the good ol' days of the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.

During the third and last stage of the first round in Group 5, the following teams will be playing next Thursday afternoon, December 1: Belgium - Croatia, Morocco - Canada.
