NNA - President of the Republic, Michel Sleiman, met Wednesday at Baabda presidential palace with the Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Awadh Asseri, over the bilateral ties.



Sleiman reportedly renewed Lebanon's utter rejection of insulting Arab kings and presidents, especially Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.



He also underlined his keenness on maintaining the best relations with all the Gulf States and especially with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.



For his part, the Saudi envoy thanked the stances and actions of Lebanon and the Lebanese judicial apparatuses in terms of the fresh affair of posters mocking the Saudi King.



He stressed that what happened would not affect the solid ties between the Kingdom and Lebanon.
