NNA - The Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Awadh Asseri, issued a statement Tuesday whereby he praised the immediate action taken by general prosecutor, Hatem Madi, who had called on the concerned security authorities to try uncovering the identity of the persons behind the caricature posters hanged yesterday in some areas of Metn, insulting the Saudi King.
"This demeanor is cheap and highly condemned," Asseri said, assuring that such conducts reflect in no way the high ethics that the Lebanese brother people enjoy.
"The deep fraternal bonds that tie Lebanon to KSA could not be spoiled by some troublesome persons as everybody knows that King Abdullah Bin Abdel Aziz loves Lebanon and his people equally as his own country and people," the Saudi Ambassador confirmed.
