NNA - Iranian Foreign Minister, Ali Akbar Salehi, said Monday the Syrian opposition is an "existing fact," where a "moderate" voice prevails.



"Anyone who has wagered on the collapse of the Syrian government was mistaken. At the same time, the opposition is an existing fact and we cannot deny it," Salehi told pro President Bashar Assad Al-Watan newspaper.



"There is now a moderate and rational voice prevailing in the opposition, that is seeking solution to the Syrian problem," he added.



He made it clear that Iran differentiates between the true opposition and foreign mercenaries that carry weapons and that came to Syria to serve foreign agendas.



He confirmed that his country would carry on talks with the Syrian opposition.
