NNA - "National Dialogue" Party Head, Fouad Makhzoumi, visited on Friday President of the Republic, Michel Sleiman, at Baabda Palace, where they broached the general situation in Lebanon and the region.



Makhzoumi briefed President Sleiman on the outcome of his recent visit to Britain and his meeting with British Prime Minister, David Cameron.



Makhzoumi hailed Sleiman's support to Lebanon's stability, saying his moderation and centrism approach keeps Lebanon away from risks and preserves its civil peace and unity of its people- as per a statement by Makhzoumi's media bureau.



Makhzoumi stressed "the importance of cooperation at this difficult stage to protect the country and fortify it in face of surrounding dangers."
