NNA - Deputy Boutros Harb said the Prosecutor Judge's request for lifting the immunity off him helped him to unveil matters which he earlier preferred not to speak about them.


The judge's demand came Tuesday after words spoken against President Sleiman and the judiciary by Harb, in light of the case pertaining to the assassination attempt which Harb was subjected to few months ago.



The press office of Harb said that the deputy received a series of phone calls in favor of him against the judge's request. It added that the deputy would hopefully hold a press conference tomorrow 12:30 pm at his residence in Hazmieh to explain the case.


Among those who phone called Harb had been deputy Nadim Gemayel, who voiced support for Harb, saying that Madi should have acted against the culprits who tried to assassinate Harb, not against the victim.
