NNA - Public Health Minister, Ali Hasan Khalil, met Sunday with the Arab League General Secretariat delegation, headed by Ambassador Faeka Said Saleh. The delegation is currently visiting Lebanon for the sake of looking into ways of extending humanitarian aids to Syrians seeking refuge on Lebanese territories.


Following the meeting, Khalil indicated that talks centered on the health situation of Syrian refugees. He added that a detailed over-view was given of the services provided by the Lebanese Health Ministry and the financial obstacles it is facing with regards to pursuing such aids to refugees. Khalil highlighted the need for re-organizing the aids operation in a manner that would be more fruitful since several sides are tackling the issue outside the framework of proper coordination, he noted.
