NNA - "Change and Reform" bloc member Deputy Farid Khazen said that his bloc refuses to hold the forthcoming elections based on the 1960 law under any pretext.
"We have entered into a procrastination stage after the Sub-committee finished its mission and studied the new electoral law," the MP told "Voice of Lebanon"-Freedom and Dignity radio on Friday.
He stressed that discussions now are on the political level, adding that Speaker of the House Nabih Berri has a major role in this issue.
Khazen emphasized need to approve a united law to all the Lebanese which would provide equality and good representation, in addition to hold elections on schedule.
"The best draft is the Orthodox law and not any other alternative at this moment," he asserted.
