NNA - Syrian protestors in the Northern Lebanese town of Tripoli staged a noisy demonstration at the local UN Head Office in protest against their deteriorating situation.



Representatives of the displaced Syrians brought to the UN's attention their plight under hush winter conditions and accused the UN of channeling all assistance to the regime. They indicated that the present condition of Syrians displaced into Lebanon has become intolerably far worse than elsewhere in Iraq, Turkey and Jordan.



The Popular Coordinating Committees also pleaded with the UN to stop ongoing bloodshed in Syria at the hands of the regime and also called for reactivating international recognition of the Syrian led opposition.
