NNA - Interior and Municipalities Minister Marwan Charbel confirmed that the Lebanese state has been persistently following up the case of Lebanese hostages held in Syria.



"Lebanese State discussed this case with Arab and UN envoy Lkhdar Brahimi during his recent visit to Lebanon," stressed Charbel.



The minister denied that the Turkish businesses in Lebanon would be at risk due to the closure of the families of the kidnapped in Syria of the Turkish airlines offices in Beirut's downtown.



"Turkish people do not work under pressure," Charbel told "Free Lebanon" radio on Wednesday, calling on the families of the kidnapped to be patient.



"This issue should be solved calmly and seriously," he concluded.
