NNA - Future Parliamentary bloc member Atef Majdalani described the Syrian arrest warrants against former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, MP Okab Sakr and a Syrian opposition figure as ludicrous and absurd.



Speaking to Al Sharq radio, the MP said these warrants shows the hallucination of a patient who is living his final hours and these signs indicate the imminent fall of this regime.



Majdalani blasted the government for the manner in which it handled the security situation and most notably the assassinations, expressing surprise by the Cabinet's refusal to hand over the telecommunication data to the security forces to assist them to uncover the assassins of Brigadier General Wissam al Hasan.



He added that this data is available to the cellular companies and are exposed to the staff of these firms.



"Are the employees of the telecom companies are more trustworthy then the Lebanese security forces? How can we guarantee that there is no infiltration by intelligence services?" the MP asked.



Majdalani stressed that the only way to maintain security in Tripoli is by withdrawing all weapons from all combatant groups.



The MP repeated that there are more than 480 counterfeited pharmaceutical medications that entered Lebanon based on the signature of the Health Ministr.
