NNA – Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, on Wednesday received at Dar Al-Fatwa, Head of the Episcopal Committee for Christian-Muslim Dialogue, emanating from the Council of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops in Lebanon, Archbishop Mar Matthias Charles Murad, with a delegation from the Committee.

The delegation briefed Mufti Derian on the Committees’ activities to promote Islamic-Christian unity.

National affairs were also discussed, especially Islamic-Christian dialogue.

Mufti Derian also met with Talal Al-Daher, head of the Cultural Forum for the Arab Clans in Lebanon, with whom he discussed the latest developments on the Lebanese arena.
