NNA - Egypt's Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa, called for separating the events and developments in the south from the presidential file, in remarks following a meeting between the ambassadors of the five-nation group for Lebanon and Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Gebran Bassil on Thursday.

"We agreed over crucial headlines, such as the necessity of speeding up the election of a president of the republic," he said.
