NNA - Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, met, at his ministry office on Thursday, with a delegation of the Jamaa Islamiya (Islamic Group).

The delegation comprised Bassam Ghannoum, Wissam Hajjar, and Wael Najm.

"Our visit aims at offering condolences to the Minister of Information on the passing away of his uncle," said Najm in the name of the delegation following the meeting.

He added that talks also touched on the Zionist attacks on journalists in south Lebanon, Gaza, and occupied Palestine.

Minister Makary has, for his part, offered condolences to the Lebanese Succor Association on the martyrdom of 7 rescuers in Habbariyeh.
