NNA - President Michel Sleiman met Saturday at Baabda Presidential Palace with foreign and domestic diplomatic figures.
Former President of the Dominican Republic and head of the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development, Leonel Antonio Fernandez Reyna, discussed with Sleiman the work of the foundation in fortifying ties between Latin American and the Arab world.
Minister of State Panos Manjian also had an audience with Head of the Republic, with talks reportedly touching on a number of files the Minister was pursuing.
Ambassador of Tunisia to Lebanon, Mohammad Fawzi Ballat, bid farewell to Sleiman as his diplomatic mission to Lebanon has come to an end. Sleiman offered him a presidential medal in appreciation of his work, wishing him the best of luck on his new assignment.
