NNA - "Future" Bloc Head Fouad Siniora eulogized Late Greek Orthodox Patriarch of the Levant and Antioch Ignatius IV Hazim, saying the Arab world and Lebanon have lost with his death one of the great pillars of "moderation and wisdom."
"He [the late patriarch] was a man of openness and coexistence," Siniora said in a statement on Wednesday, lauding his positions as rational and sensible and enjoying foresight and commitment to Arab and Lebanese interests.
In the name of "Future" Bloc members, Siniora extended condolences to all Lebanese brethrens and Christians, in general, and Orthodox citizens, in particular, on the passing away of patriarch Hazim.
