NNA - "Change and Reform" bloc head, Deputy Michel Aoun, described the demand to change the cabinet as "a leap of unsecured and unknown results in light of the volatile situation in the region."
Aoun words came during a meeting today (Wednesday) morning at his residence in Rabiya with head of Maronite General Council former Minister Wadih El-Khazen.
Following the meeting, Khazen explained that they have a common understanding that the dissociation policy which the cabinet had adopted kept Lebanon away from the repercussions of the multi- attack to destabilize security situation in the region, in general, and in Syria and Lebanon, in specific.
Citing Aoun, Khazen said that the livelihood crises resulted from the accumulated legacy of previous cabinets, saying that the Cabinet is trying to solve these matters with minimum negative impacts on state's security and citizens' ability to endure the current problems.
He pointed out that Aoun confirmed that the President Michel Sleiman's call for dialogue came within the context of bringing together ideas and efforts to protect civil peace.
