NNA - British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell, on Tuesday praised the efforts of the Lebanese Armed Forces during a visit to the eastern border with Syria last week.

In a post on his official X account, Cowell stated:

“Eastern border with Syria last week. I saw how new Forward Operating Bases are supporting @LebarmyOfficial, counter smuggling and enhancing border security.

I commended Land Border Regiment’s soldiers for their tireless work defending Lebanon. UK support continues.”
