NNA - "Future" bloc member Deputy Ammar Houri stressed the need to resort to majority law and to discuss drawing electoral districts in the forthcoming elections.
"Any election law must receive unanimous or at least semi unanimous," the MP told "Voice of Lebanon" radio.
The MP ruled out the endorsement of any formula based on proportionality.
He added that reassuring the Christians' concerns can be achieved through a new formula for districts in line with Taef Accord.
Houri said that the first stage of the subcommittee discussions finished and a new stage starts today to discuss the common grounds among parties and the possibility to reach consensus.
