NNA - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed on Saturday that his country's right to pursue its civilian nuclear program "cannot be taken away by threat or war," as the confrontation between Israel and Iran continues for its ninth day, according to Agence France-Presse.
Pezeshkian said in a phone call with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, that "Iran has always declared its readiness to provide guarantees and build confidence in its peaceful nuclear activities within the framework of international law," as reported by the official IRNA news agency.
He added, "The rights granted to states and nations by international law cannot be taken away by threat or war."
