NNA - Iran announced on Saturday the detention of a German tourist who was cycling, amid the escalating war between Israel and Iran, according to Sky News Arabia.

According to the Iranian Mehr News Agency, the young German man is accused of espionage.

Mehr News Agency released a video showing the arrest of the young man as he was cycling, by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Intelligence Service in Markazi Province, near the Rak nuclear facility.

According to the report, the young German man is accused of recording and transmitting the coordinates and locations of sensitive military and nuclear facilities.
