NNA – A meeting of regional experts, chaired by Dr. Ayman El-Sharbini, Head of Information and Communication Technology Policy at ESCWA, on the "Arab Strategy for Information and Communication Technology" (the Arab Digital Agenda) and the national reports on digital development, was held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, at the invitation of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) for a period of 4 days, in the presence of Arab countries' representatives.

Partaking on behalf of Lebanon was the head of the International Relations and Communications Maintenance Department at the Ministry of Telecommunications, Yvonne Sleiman.

Conferees presented their reports on the national offers for digital development, and a joint presentation was made for the advancement and activation of the "Arab Strategy for Information and Communication Technology", what is known as the “Arab Digital Agenda”, and this strategy includes the future vision for the next five years.
