NNA -The serious developments in the region and their potential repercussions on Lebanon featured high in a phone call this morning between President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, and Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam. Both agreed to keep communication channels open and work together to spare Lebanon the repercussions of these conditions, to prioritize the supreme national interest, and preserve unity and national solidarity.

In the same context, Prime Minister Salam held a series of calls with Ministers of National Defense Michel Menassa, Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Al-Hajjar, and Army Commander General Rodolphe Heikal. These calls aimed to coordinate efforts and take all necessary security measures to maintain internal stability and safeguard national security at this critical juncture.
