NNA - Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Wednesday chaired a meeting of the Higher Privatization Council, attended by Ministers Yassine Jaber, Amer Al-Bisat, Adel Nassar, Mohammad Haidar, and Secretary-General of the Cabinet Judge Mahmoud Makieh. Finance Minister Jaber said discussions covered new privatization projects, potential amendments to the PPP law, and a proposal for Qlayaat Airport.

Salam also met MP Ashraf Rifi and families of the North Lebanon “death boat” victims. Rifi called for justice and compensation, while lawyer Mohammad Sabbouh presented new evidence, urging serious judicial action. PM Salam pledged to follow up on the matter.
