NNA – House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Friday received at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh, Minister of Health of the Republic of Latvia, Dr. Hussam Abu Meri, in the presence of the Consul General of Latvia in Lebanon, Gerard Renno.

Discussions reportedly touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Speaker Berri later received Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, with whom he discussed the current situation, the latest political developments, and matters related to the Ministry of Public Works.

Among Speaker Berri's itinerant visitors for today had been Beirut Governor Judge Marwan Abboud.
